concert fun...

I've just got a quick moment to update the blog, and the big highlight of the weekend for me was going to the concerts I mentioned in the earlier entry. Yep, I went by myself and I had a great time pushing me, myself and I up to the front for the shows. These aren't the best photos, as my cell phone isn't super awesome with quality photos (although I had a kid next to me during the Semisonic (my "nephew" Tony) who was envious of my phone...that made me laugh a bit...maybe I'm still cool? HA!).

Mike Doughty, Semisonic & Live were all amazing...it was a gorgeous night and the music was stellar. Lots of fun for sure...to the point of a hoarse voice for me. I guess I was singing pretty loudly during the concert...

And...ribB was hunting in the Apostle Islands (I'll get the update sometime tonight when he comes home); Kdee had a BLAST at her best friend Ally's birthday (slumber) party (she took a nap from 12-4pm on Sunday!); little B and I enjoyed staying at Ann & Kevin's (who watched him for me so I could hit the concert scene--THANK YOU!). It felt great to catch up with them and get time together.

After all of that...our weekend was all about taking it easy and trying to recover....
Whew!
