And, how was ribB's trip????
Let the pictures tell the story...the boat was completely submerged in a matter of minutes due to a shift in the wind. All the guys could do was stand, watch and take pictures...until later, when ribB began the intense task of bailing water out of the boat. With all of the water out of the boat, then it became all about the SAND everywhere in the boat. Including the engine.
The good news is that the boat is repairable, under insurance and the guys still had a good time hunting and being the wilderness men that they are. To me, the funny part of their trip was the fact that the deer didn't behave like "normal" deer...hunting them required changing all the rules as these guys knew them...including chasing the deer after shooting it to do the kill shot. I'm not kidding. The guys in the group thought that this hunter was like "Rambo".
Pictures: the "guys"...ribB, Matt, John and Ben; the calm (beach) before the "storm"; the boat...getting submerged and then after all of ribB's hard work....
