Oh my...

Again, another delay in posting! Our family has been caught up in the funeral of Brett's grandfather "Tiny"...he was a great man who was larger than life...and, yes, not Tiny! Mix in with that a change of venue for trick or treating (due to the visitation/funeral on Halloween weekend in Reedsburg).
That said, the kids had a BLAST trick or treating with their cousins and I won't be surprised if they request it again next year. Kdee was a pirate and little B was "venom" the black spiderman (aka the "tough"one in his mind. They even got to hit McDonald's afterward for fun in the playland, in their costumes. What a perfect night in their minds!
Our weekend was spent mostly in Reedsburg with family, then to LaX, then back home late Saturday night. ribB and I played "name that country artist" during the drive back to stay awake. It was pretty funny because the DJ's were not saying which artist was being played, so our chances for being accurate weren't so great. But in our minds, we were very accurate!
Then, after a busy weekend...came sickness. Both kiddos have been hit hard, with little B missing 3 days of daycare and Kdee, who has had state testing, is now coming home. ribB and I have been taking turns with kid duties. Always interesting with work responsibilities--especially for ribB who had time off last week for the funeral prep.
Like many folks, we were really pumped for election night. As you can see by the pic here of little B next to our Obama sign...we are happy with the results. (and, yes, my friends/family who didn't vote Obama...it will be ok...I know from first hand experience these past 8 years...ha ha.)
Well, work is hectic and while I'm a good multi-tasker, I better not get too distracted. Heather is gone for a week to Mexico (she won the trip based on a 300 word essay about her marriage proposal--awesome!). But with her gone, that means lots of balancing of hats here for me...remember, we're a really small agency with big work!)
Hope you all stay healthy & have a great weekend ahead of you!
Pics: the cousins outside our hotel, ready to go trick or treating; Kdee and little B with their first cousins Dylan, Brooklyn and Kirsten (what a blast they had together!); little B giving a "thumbs up" for Obama; Heather and I goofing around on Halloween morning, with the googly glasses I gave everyone...it's a fuzzy phone pic. Jac: yes, my eyes look even smaller! Yikes!)

Your eyes even look smaller with magnifying glasses!
I love the Obama photo. CAW loves to give 'thumbs up' too!
