White Shadows....

Snow? Coldplay? Oh, how about a little of both. Yes, lots of snowflakes here and the lake is in the beginning stages of freezing over (don't tell the flocks of geese chilling out there for the moment--squacking all night long...I'm not kidding). I'm literally blown away that it's mid-November and that the holiday season is quickly approaching us. I am not ready!

BUT, I am ready for some fun concerts on the horizon--Coldplay (11/14) and then Puddle of Mud (11/26). Both should be great and a nice way to wrap up the 2008 concert season.
(FYI: White Shadows is a Coldplay song...)

Not much has been going on with the ribclan the past week. ribB has been hunting, the kiddos and I have hung out (including a 3 hour nap this past Sunday--unreal. I don't think that has ever happened!). We did go up to the cabin Saturday night to have dinner and fun with Uncle Bart, Aunt Donna, Cassie, The Mundths (aka Blender Boy and Wild Irish Rose) and other friends/Family. As always, there was much laughter and a few glasses of wine to whoop up the revelry.

One note to all: there is such a thing as "WHITE MERLOT". Poor Donna, who believed me, had to deal with everyone else making fun of her, telling her that I was pulling her leg. Well, she had the last laugh and we proudly displayed the (empty) bottle for all to see. Bart, John and I also did a ton of texting with the missing party member, Ana, who's off at college being super cool. We sure had a lot of fun teasing her and she was such a good sport. I guess it doesn't take much to entertain us.

The kiddos are feeling better, thankfully, and so far ribB and I have stayed clear of getting sick. Maybe the white merlot killed any germs along the way...always a good thing.

Lots of pics to post--but probably won't do them all today. Here's a couple new ones from the Reedsburg weekend. A little this, a little that....kinda like the weather/end of year wrap up. Wow...

Pics: Ana, Chandra and me; Christina and Kirsten; Kdee and Dylan (with FANGS!); the kiddos in the hotel room, ready to go trick/treating; A shy Kirsten, pulling her witch hat down...love the orange hair!
